The Jacksonville Jaguars just wrapped up mandatory minicamp. While jobs aren't won or lost at this stage of the offseason, players can most definitely put themselves in a position to compete in training camp. A handful of them most definitely are making the most of their chances. If they're able to carry their momentum, they could either seize a job or a prominent role next season.

With this in mind, here are five Jaguars standouts in the aftermath of mandatory minicamp.

Tanner Koziol, Jaguars tight end

Tanner Koziol made the most of fellow tight end Nate Boerkricher's absence at minicamp, reeling in several big-time catches. While the former Houston Cougar isn't that great a blocker, he has the size and ball skills to carve out a niche as a red zone target next season.

The Jags made it clear that they want to run more 13-personnel sets next season, so Koziol should definitely see the field if he keeps making plays in training camp.

J'Mari Taylor, Jaguars running back

Chris Rodriguez has been away from the offseason program while he recovers from foot surgery. That's allowed other running backs to get extra reps. Undrafted Rookie J'Mari Taylor appears to be the biggest beneficiary.

Although Taylor didn't test well in the pre-draft process, he was able to go play-by-play with Bhayshul Tuten in terms of big runs. The former Virginia Cavalier probably won't be any higher than No. 4 on the depth chart but should most definitely feel good about his odds of making the roster over veterans DeeJay Dallas and Ameer Abdullah.

CJ Williams, Jaguars wide receiver

Parker Washington, Jakobi Meyers, and Brian Thomas Jr. are rightly getting most of the attention, but they weren't the only wide receivers who shone at minicamp. CJ Williams turned heads with his speed and route running. On top of that, he showed up in the red zone.

Back at Stanford, Williams didn't have a good quarterback. He's getting that benefit in Duval.

Jabbar Muhammad, Jaguars cornerback

Jabbar Muhammad has been the talk of the offseason in Jacksonville, and understandably so. He's been making plays day in and day out. Suddenly, he looks like a candidate to make the 53-man roster after spending his rookie season in the practice squad.

Granted, Muhammad has mostly gone against backups, but he'll get a chance to prove in training camp that he can succeed against the starters.

Brian Thomas Jr., Jaguars wide receiver

Early in the offseason, it seemed like the Jaguars could move on from Brian Thomas Jr. because he was coming off a disappointing 2025. That no longer seems to be the case, as the former LSU Tiger has been the highlight of minicamp.

Thomas has once again shown deep-threat capabilities, with Liam Coen heaping praise on him for the work his putting in this offseason.

The Jaguars should definitely temper expectations. On the other hand, they surely feel great about where Thomas currently stands.
