Jaguars Current Uniform Combinations Ranking: Which is the best one?
By Adam McCarty
Jaguars Current Uniform Rankings: Nos. 4 to 6
UNIFORM COMBINATION No. 6
BLACK HELMET, WHITE JERSEY, BLACK PANTS
I have fewer complaints about these three jersey combinations, and to start off, the last of the white jersey combinations lands at No. 6. Overall, it’s a decent combination as the black numbers and letters play off the black pants quite well.
The biggest problem these uniforms have is once again the lack of teal. It comes off eerily similar to the New Orleans Saints away uniforms they have worn for quite some time. They aren’t jarring to look at, just too basic and too similar to other teams in the league.
UNIFORM COMBINATION No. 5
BLACK HELMET, BLACK JERSEY, BLACK PANTS
It appears to be a reoccurring theme now for the all-black uniform to be the Jaguars outfit across the pond and it’s a nice look. Complaints? Maybe the lack of teal comes to mind, but by no means do they look bad.
Black was the Jaguars’ main color for nearly a decade and this was probably one of the best looks they had when black was the “home” color. I think these come off very clean and make for an excellent alternate look, but the all-black is being used by many teams now and it makes these jerseys lose a bit of the charm. Moving forward, we can think of this combination as the “London Home Uniform”.
UNIFORM COMBINATION No. 4
BLACK HELMETS, BLACK JERSEYS, WHITE PANTS
This is probably an unpopular opinion but I find the “black jersey with white pants” combination very satisfying. The white pants play off of the white numbers on the jersey quite well and it is probably the one uniform combination that has a little bit of everything in the whole scheme.
The teal is still on the back burner in this combination but has just enough pop from the sleeves that it still feels like it’s the Jaguars. It isn’t a combination for everyone, but I have always appreciated dark tops on white bottoms in football.
