Jaguars Current Uniform Combinations Ranking: Which is the best one?
By Adam McCarty
In 2018, the “next era” of Jacksonville Jaguars football was revealed with a completely new uniform from head to toe. This made sense following the excitement that was built in a 2017 season that fell just short of a trip to the Super Bowl (MJWD).
This is the Jags’ fifth season with the current uniforms and I thought it would be a great time to reflect on all the combinations we have seen over the years.
At the close of the 2022 season, the Jaguars could potentially welcome their fifth design overall in franchise history or they could stick with their current model, which is rather plain in comparison with their 2013-2017 counterpart.
The Jaguars currently have 9 uniform combinations. Here’s a look at them:
- Black Helmet, Teal Jersey, Black Pants
- Black Helmet, Teal Jersey, White Pants
- Black Helmet, Teal Jersey, Teal Pants
- Black Helmet, White Jersey, Black Pants
- Black Helmet, White Jersey, White Pants

From the time Shad Khan bought the team in 2011, he has made it a point to make black the Jaguars’ primary color. Fans had grown to love the original teal and had been vocal about it over the years. Finally in 2021, the team reverted back to the teal jersey, which has now become the primary “home” color.
Unfortunately, as one of the “newest” teams in the league, the Jaguars have yet to establish a “throwback” uniform and hopes for the classic 1990s uniform to make a comeback seems like a pipe dream.
Also, the Jaguars have failed to create a bold alternate uniform since their highly criticized color rush jerseys in 2015. With that in mind, here are my rankings of their current uniform combinations.
