Jaguars’ Day 2 Option No. 5 – Wan’Dale Robinson, Kentucky

Despite playing for Kentucky in the SEC, Robinson made the most of his 2021 season and flew under the radar while posting splendid numbers. Statistically speaking, Robinson was in the top three for receptions with 104 in both the SEC and NCAA as a whole. On top of that, he was second in the conference for receiving yards with 1,334 and 10th with seven touchdowns.

A truly explosive receiver with notable versatility, as he can be used as either a wide receiver or you could line him up in the backfield. Robinson has a nice burst, and while he isn’t the fastest option, he’ll make you pay with his slippery and elusive play. Out of all the receivers in this group, Robinson has the least experience at the position and yet possesses sharp route-running abilities.

He’ll need some time to transition to the NFL if you want him to become a full-time wide receiver. He can definitely find a niche with the Jaguars in a role akin to that of Deebo Samuel. At the end of the day, Robinson has plenty of potential with a nice balance of speed, movement, and vision.
