No. 4 option to replace Jaguars LT Cam Robinson – Morgan Moses, FA.

Morgan Moses can play right and left tackle and was one of the least penalized players last year. He was with the Washington Football Team before he signed with the Jets. A change in head coach cause him to get lost in the shuffle with the WFT. The Jets had him starting at the right tackle but has previously seen time at left tackle. The Jaguars could sign Moses to ease the potential loss of Cam Robinson.

Although not being a direct replacement for Robinson. Moses would allow Walker Little to start at left tackle. He would eliminate most of the drive-killing penalties and would be an upgrade over Jawaan Taylor.  The Jaguars must improve the offensive line. It requires some moves that would allow the current younger players on the roster to step up. Walker Little showed in the last two games of the 2021 season that he can to perform at a level that warrants the chance to start.

No. 5 option to replace Jaguars LT Cam Robinson – Germain Ifedi, FA.

Germain Ifedi plays right tackle for the Chicago Bears. He is a player that has been on a couple of different rosters in his career because he was an inconsistent player. The question of why would the Jaguars want him on the roster? He can move inside and replace A.J. Cann, who is also set to become a free agent. This scenario allows the team to keep Jawaan Taylor at the right tackle spot.

Walker Little seems to be comfortable on both sides of the line. Little plays the tackle position at a high level. Depending on how things play out with Robinson in the offseason. In my opinion, this would be a worst-case scenario for an offensive line fix. Ifedi is a talented player that needs the right situation to flourish. He has cut the number of penalties over the last two seasons with Chicago. If Ifedi is paired with a competent right tackle he could provide stability to the right side of the line. Will it be in Jacksonville?
