3. Please, give Jaguars running back James Robinson the ball.

Running back Carlos Hyde is a fine player who went over 1,000 rushing in 2019. However, he shouldn’t be on the field any time James Robinson is available, which has happened the last two weeks.

Even though Robinson is the better player of the two, Urban Meyer has shown an affinity for Hyde. After Robinson suffered a heel injury, it made sense to give him a limited workload but the head coach has kept him on the sidelines after fumbling the ball in back-to-back-week. He cited the heel injury as a reason to limit his playing time but he then put him on the field in Week 14 when the game was already decided and out of reach.

Regardless of the reason, Meyer has held Robinson back, he can’t keep doing the same against the Titans. In Week 5, the second-year running back toted the rock 18 times for 149 yards and one touchdown. The Jaguars’ offense is better when he’s on the field, so the head coach must stop playing favorites and give Robinson the ball. Maybe Meyer prefers Hyde but he surely likes winning more and if that’s the case, Robinson, not Hyde, needs to be featured on offense.
