4. Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Laviska Sheanult is trending up.

Similar to most of the on-field product in 2020, the Jaguars’ passing offense was tough to watch. While rotating through three quarterbacks in Gardner Minshew II, Jake Luton, and Mike Glennon, Jacksonville finished 29th in total points scored, 21st in passing yards, and 19th in passing touchdowns.

One of the few bright spots last season was rookie wide receiver Laviska Shenault from Colorado. Through 14 games, Viska finished with 58 receptions on 79 targets for an even 600 yards and five touchdowns. He also avoided a tackle on 27.59 percent of his receptions in 2020, placing him fifth on that list of receivers. Not bad for a second-round rookie who had to deal with a team juggling quarterbacks amid a 1-15 season.

The optimism for Shenault in 2021 stems from his impressive rookie year and his favorable matchup with Urban Meyer, who was exceptional during his career at Florida and Ohio State. Players such as Percy Harvin and Curtis Samuel were versatile receivers who could line up anywhere and exploit defenses. The former Buffalo should be able to do the same thing.

Also, if everything goes according to plan, Laviska ‘Shenaugthy by Nature‘ will not have to deal with a revolving door at the quarterback position this year and will be able to develop a rapport throughout the season.
