OT Teven Jenkins

Teven Jenkins is one of the prospects who the Jaguars reportedly met with virtually during their pre-draft process. Jenkins’s range has been considered the first and second rounds of the draft and the Jaguars could very well take him at 33 if they liked what they learned during their meetings.

Jacksonville’s offensive line is workable right now but they need to add some depth, which is what they didn’t do during free agency. They just drafted their franchise quarterback with the number one overall picks and now they need a tackle who can protect him for the foreseeable future.

Jenkins is experienced at multiple positions within the offensive line but has most recently played at right tackle for the Oklahoma State Cowboys. If the Jaguars wanted to, they could draft Jenkins and put him at left tackle behind franchise-tagged Cam Robinson to learn and develop. If Robinson doesn’t pan out on his one-year deal, then they have their likely replacement.

LB Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah

Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah is a hard-hitter who is a versatile playmaker who is a safety-sized linebacker and one of the top at his position in the draft.

Owusu-Koramoah has tremendous explosiveness and athletic ability. He’s fast, physical, fluid but just needs to refine his fundamentals. In 2019 and 2020, he had a combined 96 tackles, 24.5 tackles for loss, seven sacks, and one interception.

Owusu-Koramoah would be a fit for the Jaguars defense considering they are going all out with 3-4 looks, 4-3 looks, nickel and dime packages, and more in 2021.

The Jaguars have endless opportunities

The Jaguars have plenty of different directions that they could go with with the 33rd overall pick. Not long after that, they are drafting at 45th overall and 65th overall. They will likely continue to focus on value rather than needs for the most part as they navigate through the rest of the draft.

Some other available prospects include linebacker Baron Browning, defensive tackle Levi Onwuzurike, wide receiver Terrace Marshall Jr., and Liam Eichenberg.
