Jacksonville Jaguars 2021 NFL Draft – Picks 20 to 32.

On the clock at 20 after their trade, The Arizona Cardinals have their franchise quarterback. They need defensive help. Patrick Peterson is gone. Do they get his replacement or address another need? What to do, what to do? The cornerback class is deeper than safety this year, so the Cards select TCU safety Trevon Moehrig.

At pick 21, The Indianapolis Colts select Alabama offensive tackle Alex Leatherwood. Everyone in Tuscaloosa is doing their laundry, and they all have the same brand, can you guess what it is?

The Tennessee Titans are up next at 22. They need an edge rusher and a good one just dropped into their laps. They draft Michigan defensive end Kwity Paye.

With the 23rd pick, the New York Jets use their second pick in the first round on defense and select South Carolina cornerback Jaycee Horn. Then, the Pittsburgh Steelers draft Alabama running back Najee Harris 24th overall. Tide players keep rolling out.

The Jaguars’ are back on the clock. They’re disappointed that Trevon Moehrig is gone. Wait a minute! No one has selected a defensive tackle. They sprint to the front and turn in Alabama defensive tackle Christian Barmore as their selection at 25. The Jaguars need to add a difference-maker to their defensive front.

Cleveland take Texas defensive tackle Joseph Ossai with the 26th overall pick and the Baltimore Ravens are next on the clock. They want quarterback Lamar Jackson to run less and throw more, so they need to get someone to throw to. Thus, they choose Minnesota wide receiver Rashod Bateman.

The New Orleans Saints is up next. Drew Brees has retired, they are going to have a quarterback competition. They have running backs and wide receivers. Let’s get better on defense. With the 28th pick, the Saints select Florida State cornerback Asante Samuel Jr.

Last year the Green Bay Packers selected their quarterback of the future…someone to push Aaron Rodgers, put some pressure on him. Yeah, right! LOL!!! They’re not making that mistake two years in a row. The Packers get Rodgers another weapon and draft Purdue wide receiver Rondale Moore 29th overall.

Buffalo has the 30th pick, and they select USC offensive lineman Alijah Vera-Tucker to protect their franchise quarterback. At 31 overall, the Ravens bulk up their offensive line and take Michigan offensive tackle Jalen Mayfield.

And with the last pick in the first round, the defending Super Bowl Champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers used the 32nd pick to select Wyatt Davis, OT, Ohio State.

There you have it, folks. Go pawn your car, turn in all the aluminum cans you’ve collected, and bet it all on the picks above. You’re guaranteed to win enough money to retire….or take your girlfriend fishing. But don’t forget to tell everyone you know that you heard it here first.
