Round 1 (continued): Picks 18-24

No. 18 – Miami Dolphins: Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, LB, Notre Dame

The Dolphins address their greatest need with one of the top linebackers. Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah offers value at this spot.

No. 19 – Washington Football Team: Trey Lance, QB, North Dakota State

Washington released Alex Smith and signed Ryan Fitzpatrick to a one-year contract. They are thrilled that Trey Lance dropped to them and race to turn in their pick.

No. 20 – Chicago Bears: DaVonta Smith, WR, Alabama

The top quarterbacks are gone. After signing Andy Dalton to a one-year contract the Bears go after another offensive weapon and select this year’s Heisman Trophy winner.

No. 21 – Indianapolis Colts: Alex Leatherwood, OT, Alabama

The Colts value a strong offensive line and they get an offensive tackle to protect their new quarterback, Carson Wentz.

No. 22 – Tennessee Titans: Jaylen Waddle, WR, Alabama

Tennessee needs more help on their defensive line, but they can’t pass up a top wider receiver that has fallen into their lap.

No. 23 – New York Jets: Asante Samuel, CB, Florida State

The Jets were busy in free agency and signed a number of players to fill needs. Getting one of the top cornerbacks in the at pick 23 is very good value.

No. 24 – Pittsburgh Steelers: Azeez Ojulari, LB, Georgia

The Steelers lost a lot of linebackers and didn’t go after any of the free agents. Azeez Ojulari is a top linebacker that has fallen to them. He’s a very good pick.
