2. Fred Taylor and Jimmy Smith vs Miami – January 15, 2000

This was the most dominant win not only in Jaguars’ postseason history. It was one of the greatest wins in NFL playoff history. Running back Fred Taylor and wide receiver Jimmy Smith played a key role in the 62-7 performance that effectively ended quarterback Dan Marino’s career.

Taylor finished the game with 18 carries for 135 yards and one touchdown, to go along with one reception for 39 yards and a touchdown. His 90-yard touchdown run off the right side of the line in the second quarter made the Dolphins defense look like a JV high school team and put the Jaguars up 17-0. After that electrifying score, they never looked back.

Not to be outdone Smith, who had one hell of a day of his own hauling in five receptions for 136 yards and two touchdowns. This offense completely dominated the ‘Phins’. This might be another twofer on the list but when an offense puts up that many points and two players are the main catalysts behind it, you can’t help but put them both in there.
