The Chicago Bears have an incentive to dispatch the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Jacksonville Jaguars don’t currently have much to play for. If anything, winning their next game would hinder their chances of keeping the first overall selection in the 2021 NFL Draft. Meanwhile, the Chicago Bears have a 7-7 record and are fighting to keep their hopes alive. Heading into their Week matchup, they have a 32 percent chance to qualify for the postseason.

Then again, this is not going to be an easy game for the Bears. While losing would certainly be in the Jaguars’ best interest, head coach Doug Marrone has already made it clear that he is still looking for his second victory of the year and hasn’t given up on the season, even if that is counterproductive to the team’s long-term plans.

The ‘Jags’ currently are near the bottom of most offensive and defensive categories and are dead last in yards allowed. Meanwhile, Chicago’s defense ranks 14th in yards allowed but 10th in points. They’ve given up less than 20 points six times this season and allowed more than 30 just twice, so Jacksonville’s offense, which has scored a total of 24 points in the last two weeks, will have to get going if they want to spoil the Bears’ odds of making the playoffs.

If this Jacksonville wants to pull an upset and knock out Chicago of postseason contention, they will have to keep an eye on these 10 players.
