2018 – Taven Bryan, DL, Florida

This is the one pick every Jaguars fan has an opinion for. The front office took Bryan thinking it could prepare for the future with Taven Bryan out of Florida when Will Hernandez out of UTEP and Lamar Jackson of Louisville were still on the board.

Bryan’s rookie season was basically a wash because he played out of position for half the year at right end. He showed some improvement when he was moved inside.

His second season in the league was better, but not by much. This is a season that could prove to be his last in Jacksonville if he cannot improve steadily. There is a good chance he could be the starting defensive tackle for the team unless Derrick Brown is available with the ninth pick. Bryan is still a work in progress. GRADE – D
