2015 – Dante Fowler, Jr, DE, Florida

Dante Fowler, Jr. was selected with the third pick in the 2015 Draft with the hope of being the team’s best pass rusher to ever set foot on the field. Then on the first play of rookie practice, he tore his ACL and missed his rookie season.

It was a roller coaster ride for Fowler, who played with raw emotion and at times was in and out of trouble off the field. He also had issues with the Jaguars’ front office. Given that Yannick Ngakoue was drafted in 2016 and immediately outperformed the former Florida star, it was only a matter of time before he was the talk of trade rumors.

In 2018, the Jaguars sent Fowler to the Rams for draft picks. He had his best season in L.A. last year before signing a free-agent deal with Atlanta this offseason. Grade C
