Okwuegbunam is a player that was expected to shine this year and gain some first-round attention. However, he didn’t impress this year and his stock fell a bit.

After running a 4.49 at this year’s Combine however, Albert Okwuegbunam’s stock might have just jumped back up once again. He has the size to be a very good blocking tight end, is fast enough to pose a threat downfield against linebackers, and has enough size to be a tough cover for smaller safeties and cornerbacks.

And the Jaguars may need his services, knowing how poorly the tight end position performed this past season.

He may not garner a first-round pick but the Jaguars may want to take a flyer on the big-bodied tight end in the second round. Josh Oliver is still a bit of a question mark at tight end, but Okwuegbunam has tons of potential and presents a fantastic red zone threat.
