Renegotiate a new deal for Leonard Fournette

Just this past week, team general manager David Caldwell said the team would look at Leonard Fournette’s contract later during the offseason to determine if the Jaguars front office will pick up the former LSU star’s fifth-year option.

Not only do they decide not to do that, but Caldwell also extends their star running back with a five-year deal to keep him in black and teal.

Running back is the one position in the NFL where you can find someone to carry the football. The Jaguars reward Fournette’s growth on and off the field by making him a cornerstone piece to build around on the offense.
