Josh Lambo

Not having Josh Lambo in the Pro Bowl this season is almost criminal. Justin Tucker of the Baltimore Ravens is a deserving selection, but the local hero and the Jaguars’ most consistent performer should have been in Orlando this weekend.

All Lambo did in 2019 was hit on 33 of 34 field goals and 19 of 20 extra points. Since joining the team in midseason of 2017, he has been almost automatic. He has hit on 71 of 75 field goals. That’s a 94.6 percent success rate.

"As John Oehser of Jaguars.com wrote, “Jaguars kicker Josh Lambo was named Associated Press second-team All-Pro, and any spot on the AP All-Pro team ranks as one of the NFL’s most-prestigious honors. But an argument can be made for Lambo as first-team kicker.”"

The Jaguars also had one of the top punters in the NFL this season in Logan Cooke. While other areas of the team struggled, the special teams unit was one of the better ones this past season.
