Jawaan Taylor

I’ll be the first one to say I was not crazy about Jacksonville’s choice of Jawaan Taylor in the second round. I thought there was a reason why he slipped out of the first round the way he did.

I will also be the first one to tell you that I was wrong on so many levels. Taylor, although he did have his struggles at times as a rookie, made the PFF All-Rookie team and was a mainstay at right tackle for the team this season.

Taylor, who became an anchor on a line, played every snap this season and grew more dominant as the season progressed.

The Jaguars have not been able to find a right tackle who could move into the lineup and play for many seasons. That has finally come to an end.
