Calais Campbell – Defensive End/ Defensive Tackle

The mayor of Sacksonville is having yet another very solid season.

Calais Campbell is stuffing the run among the leagues best and is still finding ways to get his numbers in the sack department despite the fact that there are so many hungry mouths to feed when it comes to rushing the quarterback on this defense.  There isn’t really any significant sign of age for the big anchor of the defense. If this unit is going to continue feasting on signal-callers and stuffing the run, then Campbell is going to have to play a big role for the remainder of the season.

This week, he is going to have a tough task. The Colts have a solid offensive line that’s headlined by the young star guard Quenton Nelson. Jacoby Brissett has shown that he is a starting-caliber quarterback in this league and that the Colts shouldn’t have to worry about that position for the future.

The Jaguars will need to pressure him if they want to stop this offense and increase their chance of victory. Look for Campbell to have a sack this week and at least two tackles for loss.
