Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Pittsburgh Steelers: Friday Fact or Fiction for Divisional Weekend

Blake Bortles will throw at least 2 touchdowns: FACT
The subject of a wave of criticism this week after his awful wild card performance, Blake Bortles has an opportunity this week to sway the narrative back towards reality a bit this week.
People don’t want to hear it after the kind of game he had against Buffalo, but Bortles really isn’t that bad of a quarterback.
He’s a top 12 passer according to QBR, and he managed to guide his team to the playoffs with some relatively solid statistics.
The issue is that on any given day, Bortles can look like the worst quarterback in the league.
I don’t think that happens this week. I expect the Jaguars to air it out early and often in this game and give Bortles plenty of chances in the redzone to capitalize with touchdowns.
Next: Experts are predicting a Jaguars loss...
This is an unusual game, because the logical way to approach is that the Steelers have the upper hand thanks to their advantage at the quarterback position. Yes, the Jaguars beat him silly earlier this year but 5 interceptions won’t happen again.
That being said, I don’t think the Steelers are going to have a huge day offensively against this defense. A low scoring game means the Jaguars will have a fighting chance until the very end.
I think this is the week we finally see Blake Bortles drive his team down the field in the fourth quarter for a game winning drive.
Because I’m a homer and screw it. Go Jags.
PREDICTION: Jaguars 27 – Steelers 24
