Game Prediction

This one is going to be an absolute slugfest. The Steelers want revenge, and the Jaguars want to prove that the first meeting was no fluke. The game will be predicated on getting a far more productive effort from the offense than we have seen of late, and keeping Pittsburgh’s weapons under wraps.

The Jaguars are in no way intimidated by the Steelers, and will not be afraid of the challenge of taking them down again. This game is going to stay close all the way, as the teams will trade hay-makers for four quarters. Aforementioned, in order for the Jaguars to win this game, the team is going to have to come up with a game-turning play from the defense or special teams.

This is a tough one. I 100% believe Jacksonville can go into Pittsburgh again and exit with a win. The defense is geared up and set to make another major statement. But with the uncertainty surrounding the offense, it’s difficult to be overly confident in picking the Jaguars.

But in the end, the Steelers think the first game is an aberration, and is fully planning on a rematch with the New England Patriots in the AFC title game. Jacksonville is focused and ready to play spoiler again. The Jaguars defense rises to the occasion as the unit has done so often, and Jacksonville kicks a field goal to win it late. Call me crazy, but Duuuuuvaaaal chants will echo from the seats of Heinz Field as the Jaguars claim a spot in the AFC Championship.
