Game prediction

With all due respect to the Bills, the Jaguars couldn’t have asked for a better matchup on Sunday. A defense that gives up yards and touchdowns on the ground is the perfect remedy for Jacksonville to get back to what they do on offense. Expect a heavy dose of Leonard Fournette on Sunday.

Blake Bortles has played better at home, and will have to make some plays with his arm. It won’t be a huge day through the air, as Bortles will be asked to just make the throws that are there, and avoid the costly turnovers.

The playoffs are the setting where the defense must put the stamp on being considered an elite unit. The heartbeat of the Jaguars runs through the defense, and it’s time to show just how great this group of eleven can be.

Buffalo will make a few plays in the first half to keep it interesting early. But Jacksonville will grind the Bills down in the second half, and the defense will smell the blood in the water and take over late. The Jaguars, in front of an electric home crowd, will secure the wild card win, and a rematch in the divisional round with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
