Allen Hurns will score a touchdown: Fact

The Jacksonville Jaguars have a 2-game win streak in London over the last two years and a big reason why has been the stellar play of Allen Hurns. Two years ago, the Jaguars blew a huge lead to the Buffalo Bills and the game looked lost, but Hurns made a spectacular diving catch in the endzone as the fourth quarter was winding down to put the Jaguars back on top.

Last year, the Jaguars looked ready to blow another lead, this time to the Indianapolis Colts. Instead, Hurns turned a short catch into a nifty touchdown run in the fourth quarter to pad the lead and seal a win.

This year, Hurns is going to be the focal point of what has been a fairly inept passing game. Albeit in garbage time, the former undrafted free agent had a solid outing last week when Bortles had to force the ball down the field in their loss to the Titans. It’s clear Bortles is more comfortable with Hurns, as Marqise Lee and Keelan Cole continue to drop the ball.

This week, the Jaguars will look to get the ball to Hurns in the slot as the team tries to do something to make the offense more well rounded. I expect a play action pass near the goalline to be directed at Hurns and he’ll make the catch.
