  1. Cleveland Browns-Adoree Jackson, Cornerback, USC

Jackson is a bit undersized at only 5’9” but he makes up for his size with athleticism. The browns have problems in the secondary and Jackson can give them a solid corner opposite Joe Haden.

  1. San Francisco 49ers-Patrick Mahomes, Quarterback, Texas Tech

Mahomes is one of the more athletic quarterbacks in the draft and checks a lot of boxes for what you want in a franchise quarterback. The 49ers are an ideal place for him as we would not have to start right away as he can sit behind Brian Hoyer for a year or two while new general manager John Lynch continues to build the roster.

  1. Jacksonville Jaguars-Evan Engram, Tight End, Ole Miss

The Jaguars recently signed Mychal Rivera and I still believe he may go into 2017 as the starter at the position. However, Engram presents too much value here. He is one of the most athletic receiving tight ends in the draft and would give Blake Bortles a safety valve that he needs. Yes, the Jaguars need to build their offensive line but there are no offensive linemen valued enough to take here.

While this isn’t a sexy draft for the Jaguars it would add quality depth to the defensive line, and what should be a 10-year starter at tight end. The running back class is very deep and can be addressed later in the draft, as can the offensive line.

How would you react if the first two rounds went like this? Let us know!
