Brandon Linder

Since being drafted Linder has been the best player on the Jags’ offensive line. He has played both guard and center and he has exceled at both positions. Linder has everything you want in a young center, and the Jags should try and lock him down with a long-term deal before the season starts. His deal should be about an average of $7-8 Million per year similar to those of other ascending centers in the league.

Aaron Colvin

Our very own Luke Sims had a nice write up on Aaron Colvin recently. Colvin has all the tools but has yet to make a huge impact playing in the nickel spot on the defense. He should have ample opportunities to make plays this year as he will be targeted a lot with Jalen Ramsey and A.J. Bouye lock down the outside spots. Colvin is another player that I believe the Jags will make earn their next contract with their play in 2017.

Telvin Smith

Plain and simple, Telvin Smith has already earned his next contract. He is one of the most underrated players in the league and is arguably the best player on the Jaguars’ defense. Smith has racked up 350 tackles since coming into the league in 2014. He had 118 in 2016 alone which was tied for 16th in the league overall. Look for Jacksonville to resign him before the season starts. His contract could be anywhere from $6-10 Million per year depending just how much the Jaguars value him and what their plans are on defense moving forward.
