5) Julius Thomas, tight end, Jacksonville Jaguars

I’ve made it no secret that I expect Julius Thomas to rebound as a fantasy football option in 2016. He’s far too good of a tight end to expect him to drop off into obscurity for the second season in a row.

More from Black and Teal

With a big frame, a big-time quarterback, and two top wide receivers to take the pressure off of him, Thomas can return to form and be a top tight end option in 2016. He may not unseat

Rob Gronkowski

as the best fantasy football tight end available, but he’ll be able to provide plenty of production for fantasy owners.

Currently ranked 11th in Matthew Berry’s 2016 rankings, it wouldn’t be shocking to see Thomas outperform that ranking. He’s a red zone dominating machine and can also force mismatches on any play. Expect him to get plenty more looks in 2016 especially since he won’t be injured (at least not yet) like he was to start 2015. If there’s room to gamble on tight end in the later rounds, Thomas is a good bet.
