2. Control the field position battle

Going into last weeks matchup against the Baltimore Ravens, Gus Bradley emphasized on how important field position would be in that game, and he was right. I think it is a very similar scenario in this game, neither of these offenses are expected to put up large amounts points in this game. I honestly see this game being fairly low scoring, and I think it will be a battle of defenses. With that being said, the Jaguars will need to get a big game out of Bryan Anger if they want to have a good chance to win.

There is no sugar coating it, Anger has not lived up to his expectations in Jacksonville.

He has put together some decent seasons, however if you are a punter that is drafted in the third round then you should be one of the best at your position and Anger certainly isn’t. If the Jaguars are able to put Marcus Mariota in some bad field position then it could make a huge difference in this game. The Titans have struggled to move the ball down the field all season long and if the Jaguars can win the battle of field position then this could be a long game for Tennessee.
