3. Which rookies should Jaguar fans keep an eye on in this game?

"Shaq Thompson.  Bortles better hope Shaq does not get free to get in the backfield or else he might see a lot of time on the ground."

My take:

Shaq Thompson was a bit of a surprise first round pick as he didn’t really have a defined position, but he should be useful on the Carolina defense. The Jaguars did a good job in pass protection in the preseason and the offensive line looks vastly improved, so I wouldn’t be too worried about the rookie. I’ll be keeping my eye on Devin Funchess to see if the Panthers try to use his size in the red zone.
