Cap Capi will have a sack: FACT

The Jaguars had a hard time getting pressure on the Pittsburgh Steelers during the first half of their opening preseason contest. Ben Roethlisberger moved the ball down the field with ease on his lone drive, and even Landry Jones had some time to throw on his first few possessions.

That is until Cap Capi came onto the field.

Outstanding name aside, Capi was probably the most impressive player on defense in the second half of last Friday’s game. He was the highest rated defensive player on the Jaguars according to Pro Football Focus (+3.4) thanks to 2 sacks and 4 QB hurries on 45 snaps.

Capi will continue to get chances to show his worth this preseason, as the Jaguars desperately need someone to emerge as an edge rusher. The Jaguars appear to be less hopeful about Chris Clemons stepping up his production from last season and nobody is holding their breath for Andre Branch to breakout. Capi continues his preseason show on Saturday.
