Last week we looked a 2-round Jaguars mock draft based on the top-50 prospects. We’re going to bring you a 3-round mock draft now, building up to that beautiful 7-round draft before the 2015 NFL Draft starts on April 30th.

Jaguars mock drafts are all over the place, with pretty much one thing for certain: a pass rusher will be coming to Duval in the first round. Dante Fowler Jr. thinks it will be him. The Jaguars aren’t taking any chances, however, and are bringing in a host of young players to work out. With Vic Beasley and Fowler appearing to be front runners, we Jags fans shouldn’t rule out players like wide receivers Amari Cooper and Kevin White or defensive tackle Leonard Williams if he falls to the Jags.

All the options are on the table for round one.

It gets interesting with the other rounds, though.

So, let’s dive into this 3-round Jaguars mock draft.

1) Vic Beasley, DE/OLB, Clemson

I’m high on Beasley for a number of reasons. He has consistent, high-level production from his collegiate years, he posted some ridiculous numbers during the NFL Scouting Combine, and he’s got good size that he can build on at the professional level.

This is a pick that marries need and value almost perfectly. Beasley will come in and immediately be the primary pass rushing threat for the Jaguars. With 33 sacks to his name in the last three seasons at Clemson, the Jaguars will have little risk of him not being able to translate his success to the professional level.

The tough call at number three is that the Jaguars have so many options. While almost all of them are good, the team can’t go wrong by bringing Beasley in.
