Sit: Andre Johnson, WR, Houston Texans
Andre Johnson is still a threat in each and every game, but the big plays have been shifting to fellow wideout DeAndre Hopkins so far this season. Expect Johnson to get a few catches, but expect most of the defensive attention to be focused on him this week. If Fitzpatrick does follow his career trend, then this may be a moderately poor passing outing by the Texans anyway, so don’t be shocked when there aren’t a lot of targets toward Johnson this week.
Start: Allen Hurns, WR, Jacksonville Jaguars
Hurns is a feat or famine type fantasy wide receiver. He’s posted 20+ points twice this season and he’s proven to become more dependable as the season has gone on. Some weeks he seemingly disappears, but he steps up in big situations. Expect this game to be rather close and expect Blake Bortles to look toward one of his favorite big play threats when he needs a chunk of yards. Hurns has proven he will outmuscle even some of the most talented defensive backs so far this season, so don’t be shocked if he wrestles down more than a few balls for some big yards this week.
