Demetrius McCray, Cornerback

The Jaguars have a lot of bodies at the cornerback position, but 2013 draft pick Demetrius McCray is a guy they seem to like a lot. McCray played the most snaps of any defensive player in week 1 (45), and he’ll continue to get opportunities despite the return of veteran Alan Ball. McCray could get some looks with the first team defense, which means he’ll have his work cut out for him against the likes of Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery. This week will be a good barometer on how much he’s developed since being drafted in the 7th round.
