David Caldwell was aggressive in trying to shore up the defense in free agency, but some of the signings were more of a bridge than a long-term solution. While Chris Clemons might provide good play for another year or two, pass rusher is still a huge need. Marcus Smith is a high upside end who can rush the passer in the LEO position or the traditional end spot in a 4-3 scheme.
