After taking Leonard Fournette with the 4th pick, the Jacksonville Jaguars are projected by most to look for an offensive lineman on Friday.

With the first round in the books, it’s time to reset and see who the Jacksonville Jaguars may take in the 2nd and 3rd round to go with Leonard Fournette. Let’s take a look at some of the hard working folks who have put together 2nd day mock drafts.

Dan Kadar over at Mocking the Draft thinks the Jaguars go for Alabama tackle Cam Robinson…:

"33. Green Bay Packers: Chidobe Awuzie, CB, Colorado34. Seattle Seahawks: Forrest Lamp, G, Western Kentucky35. Jacksonville Jaguars: Cam Robinson, OT, Alabama"

And so does Mike Kaye over at First Coast News:

"33) Green Bay Packers (via Browns): Dalvin Cook, RB, Florida State34) Seattle Seahawks (via 49ers): Forrest Lamp, G/T, Western Kentucky35) Jacksonville Jaguars: Cam Robinson, T/G, AlabamaRationale: The Jaguars select a college tackle who will likely start his NFL career as a guard. Robinson could play guard for a year or two and eventually move to right tackle when Jacksonville moves on from Jeremy Parnell. The Jaguars badly need offensive line help."

Kaye then has the Jaguars taking their annual FSU player in the third round:

"68) Jacksonville Jaguars: DeMarcus Walker, DE, Florida StateRationale: The Jaguars still need rotational pass rushers and Walker can play in a few spots along the line. The Jacksonville native keeps the tradition of in-state school picks alive and finds himself a nice spot in the defense. He could serve as Calais Campbell‘s backup on early downs and could also be a key fixture of the pass rush on third downs."

The most enticing 2nd day mock however might be from Emily Kaplan over at The MMQB:

"No. 35 Jacksonville Jaguars: Forrest Lamp, G, Western KentuckyHere’s how Jacksonville is making Blake Bortles’ life easier in 2017: a workhorse running back and reinforcements for the offensive line. No excuses now.No. 68 Jacksonville Jaguars: Sidney Jones, CB, WashingtonJust as the Jaguars scooped up Myles Jack in 2016, Jacksonville scores with a first-round talent who tumbled because of injury."

As you can see, it seems inevitable the Jaguars will take either Forrest Lamp or Cam Robinson at the top of the second round. I agree, and the only way it doesn’t occur is if both guys are already gone, or the Jaguars are enamored with one of the quarterbacks (Deshone Kizer or Nate Peterman come to mind).

I don’t think that’s the case, so I expect Lamp or Robinson. In the third round, it’s a complete guess and depends on how the board plays out. The Jaguars could look for a pass rusher, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they double down on offensive lineman.

Either way, it looks like the Jaguars will be able to snag some good players on Friday.
