The Jacksonville Jaguars are in desperate need of a win after losing their past two games. The issue is that they'll next be playing the Minnesota Vikings at EverBank Stadium. Even though the Jags should have an edge by virtue of being the home team, they're a 7.0-point underdog and it's easy to see why.
After a slow start to the 2024 season, their offense has played much better in recent weeks. However, Trevor Lawrence is dealing with an injury and probably won't play Sunday. That means that Mac Jones will likely start for Jacksonville. Working in his favor is that he'll have a full array of weapons.
On the other hand, Jones could face lots of pressure. The Vikings rank seventh in points allowed and have done a good job of bringing the heat this season, registering 27 sacks. Meanwhile, the Jaguars will be without left guard Ezra Cleveland, who's been ruled out for the bout with an ankle injury. Third-year pro Luke Fortner will be filling in for him, but that's not great news when you take into account that he was benched in favor of Mitch Morse after struggling last year.
It's also worth noting that Jacksonville nearly beat the Green Bay Packers and the Philadelphia Eagles the past two years. They ultimately came up short, but they will give the Vikings all they can handle. Who knows? Maybe this time they'll come out on top. With that in mind, here's how you can watch the game.

Vikings-Jaguars recent outcomes
The Jaguars and the Vikings don't play often because they're in different conferences. In total, they faced off each other seven times and Minnesota has won six of those. The last time Jacskonville faced the Vikes was in 2020. The game was notable because then-Jaguars linebacker Joe Schobert had an interception return for a touchdown.
The Vikings ultimately came out on top but Schobert's defensive touchdown was a bright spot in what otherwise was a dreadful season for the Jaguars.
