Since becoming the general manager for the Jacksonville Jaguars, James Gladstone has shown that he isn't afraid to make moves to take care of immediate needs and address the larger scale roster. That's why nobody batted an eye when the Jags acquired wide receiver Jakobi Meyers from the Las Vegas Raiders just before the NFL trade deadline.

The move makes sense since the Jags have struggled with drops throughout the offseason, and Meyers is one of the most sure-handed receivers in the NFL. Couple that with the fact that their depth at the position was stretching thin, and the trade was a no-brainer.

Adam Schefter of ESPN reported that Jacksonville sent fourth and sixth-round selections to the Raiders in return for Meyers. This begs the question, how many picks do the Jags have in the 2026 draft? Here's an updated list after the trade.

The Jaguars have 11 draft picks after the Jakobi Meyers trade

As noted before, James Gladstone isn't afraid to take a swing. Before free agency, he traded wide receiver Christian Kirk to the Houston Texans in return for a seventh-round selection. Later in the 2025 draft, the Jags sent the Jags' first and fourth next year (along with their second this year) to the Cleveland Browns in exchange for the second overall pick, which they used to choose Travis Hunter.

However, the Jags recovered nicely from the Hunter trade by moving down a few spots in the third round. By doing so, the Detroit Lions gave them two selections in the third round in 2026.

Just before the season began, the Jags traded offensive tackle Fred Johnson to the Philadelphia Eagles and got a seventh-rounder in return. On the other hand, they gave up a sixth-rounder for wide receiver Tim Patrick. Before the Jakob Meyers trade, the Jaguars had two picks in Round 6. They had previously traded their own sixth but had gotten an extra one (along with a fifth-rounder) when they shipped running back Tank Bigsby to Philly.

Now, the Jaguars have one pick remaining in the sixth round, the one they swapped Tyson Campbell for Greg Newsome. With this in mind, here are the 11 selections they hold in 2026 after the Jakobi Meyers trade.
