After the Jacksonville Jaguars beat the Tennessee Titans in Week 18, a clip of Trevor Lawrence letting himself be squatted went viral. The video is so surreal that it led to questions about the veracity, because how often are you going to see a fan lifting your franchise quarterback?

But the whole interaction did take place, and Lawrence talked about it ahead of the playoff game against the Buffalo Bills.

Trevor Lawrence met with the local media ahead of the Bills game. To nobody's surprise, the viral clip came up, and here's what he had to say about it.

"Yep, it's done. So we can, we can all move on," Lawrence said when asked bout the clip. "Now it's now you guys were worried about it, but, yeah, it's pretty just having a good time. I guess. I don't know how else to describe this. I did not think that was gonna happen, but it's interesting. Phones now record everything. So there you go."

Later in the exchange, No. 16 made it clear he had no idea the whole thing was going to be recorded.

"I didn't think I was going to get filmed. I mean, she was gonna squat. She didn't just pick me up. That would be crazy, but now I was having a good time," Lawrence said.

Here's the clip Tik Tok user nahtahshaa originally uploadede, in case you hadn't seen it.

The same day Lawrence talked to reporters, he was named AFC player of the Month after completing 105 of 165 passes for 1,371 yards with 13 touchdowns and one interception in December. Similarly, the former Clemson Tiger was nominated for the FedEx Air & Ground Player of the Week after going 20-of-30 for 255 yards with three touchdowns in the season finale.

For the season, Lawrence completed 60.9 percent of his throws for 4,007 yards with 29 touchdowns and 12 picks. He also racked up nine rushing touchdowns.

Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars are having fun ahead of the playoffs

One huge reason the Jaguars went 13-3 in 2025 is that they're playing loose. Sure, Liam Coen is the kind of coach who will demand the most from his players, but he'll also ask them to have as much fun as they can. That's been reflected in their hot streak to end the season.

Trevor Lawrence, in particular, has been playing with a level of confidence he didn't seemingly have in past years. That's helped him flip the switch and remind everyone that he's one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL.

Next, the Jaguars are slated to face off against the Buffalo Bills in the Wild Card Round of the playoffs. Expect them to once again have a good time, but also to give their all. And if they come out on top, don't be surprised if more viral clips of their celebrations pop up in the aftermath.
