It has been 100 percent impossible not to love rookie Travis Hunter, whether or not you're a Jacksonville Jaguars fan. He truly is just every other kid out there chasing his dream and having fun doing it.

But, with the fun side also comes the business side, and Hunter's rookie contract has yet to be signed. We're in mid-June, too, and that's certainly newsworthy.

While Hunter continues with his daily dose of dancing, comic relief and a natural ability to build positive team culture, one can't help but wonder just what's going on behind the scenes with his rookie deal.

Ian Rapoport chimes in on the Travis Hunter contract situation as Jaguars fans breathe a sigh of relief

While most fans likely aren't too worried about Hunter's contract situation play out, some might have a harder time being at ease. For those, I give you none other than NFL insider Ian Rapoport and his latest thoughts on Hunter's state of affairs.

"I don't expect a holdout. We rarely, rarely, rarely see a holdout, but I do think this will take some time," Rapoport said in his latest update.

"But if you're talking about Jaguars fans, you're talking about Jaguars people, I don't think they have anything to worry about because he's almost certainly going to be participating in training camp. You'd think they will figure out a way to get it done by then."

If there was any reason to truly worry, Rapoport likely would have sent some sort of indication, but he didn't. This is far from a situation like that of Cincinnati Bengals rookie Shemar Stewart, who recently called out the Cincy front office amid his contract situation.

Thankfully, there has been no inkling that Hunter's contract won't get done. This is more so about the rookie getting the most out of his first deal as a pro, and justifiably so. We're talking about the no. 2 overall pick who has the chance to be a legitimate two-way star at the NFL level.

Fear not, Jaguars fans. This thing will get done.
