The Jacksonville Jaguars defeated the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday Night, easily cruising to a 33-10 win. While other players had a bigger impact than tight end Quintin Morris, he most definitely set the tone with his pregame speech during warm-ups.
Prime Video posted some of the highlights from the Week 9 shellacking over Baltimore. Morris speech made the cut, with the veteran tight end stating that the Jags protected the Bank the week before, but they were now robbing. Here's the clip in question.

You will be hard-pressed to find someone who isn't moved by Morris' words, and it's easy to see why he's become a mainstay on the Jacksonville offensive, even if he doesn't have a featured role.
Quinton Morris has quietly become a prominent Jaguars leader
Quintin Morris eventually found out that his speech went viral, and his response couldn't have been more hilarious, "Me after speech trying make sure the punchline hit."

Keep in mind that Jacksonville wouldn't let Morris lead the pregame speech if he wasn't a trusted voice in the locker room. He is, and his rise with the Jags is nothing short of impressive.
Morris originally landed with the Jags after the 2025 draft. At the time, it didn't look like his signing would move the needle. And it didn't, at least early on, as the former Bowling Green product didn't make the 53-man roster and instead was signed to the practice squad.
However, Morris ended up working his way onto the active roster. The team's brass was pleased enough with him that he signed a new-one year deal in 2026 to return to Jacksonville. This time, the Richmond, Texas native made the team from the get-go, even though he didn't have the most inspiring training camp.
Morris has yet to start this season and has barely played 18 percent of the team's total snaps on offense. However, he's carved out a niche as a blocker. That specific skill set and his leadership skills have ensured that he has a spot on the roster.
Here's a clip of Morris showcasing his blocking prowess. He's No. 80 on the left, in case you were wondering.:

Why Quentin Morris is so valuable to the Jaguars
Not everybody on your roster can be an All-Pro. You also need someone who can fill small roles that some of your star players can't fill. Quintin Morris will gladly take on a couple of them: A blocking specialist and a contributor on special teams.
And that's the thing, Morris has never had more than 11 catches in a season. He had six in 2025, and just one this year. But catching passes isn't his forte, and evaluating him just on that alone would be shortsighted.
The Jaguars know that, which is why they have a spot for him, even though the talented trio of Brenton Strange, Nate Boerkircher, and Tanner Koziol are ahead of him on the depth chart.
