While some analysts believe the Jacksonville Jaguars could regress after their impressive 2025 campaign, the consensus expects them to keep up where they left off and win the AFC South title for the second year in a row. The Jags already built a lead in the division, easily beating the Cleveland Browns in Week 1.
Of course, it's a long season, so Jacksonville can't afford to take the foot off the gas pedal. After all, things only get tougher moving forward. Liam Coen's squad is slated to face several playoff teams in the upcoming weeks before the BYE.
This begs the question, how will the Jaguars fare in the upcoming weeks? With this in mind, here's a prediction of their next five games.

Week 2 Jaguars @ Denver Broncos
The Denver Broncos got crushed on national TV. There's no way to sugarcoat it: The Kansas City Chiefs neutralized the Davis Webb offense, and the Denver defense had no answer for Patrick Mahomes and star running back Kenneth Walker.
In fact, the Broncos made dubious history when they missed 28 tackles for 247 yards. Sure, they have too much talent to turn things around, but the Jaguars already hit their stride, so they'll have trouble stopping them when they welcome them at Empower Field at Mile High.
Prediction: Jaguars win (2-0)
Week 3: Jaguars vs. Patriots
Like the Chiefs, the New England Patriots fell in their season opener, and things will only get tougher. 2025 runner-up MVP Drake Maye threw three interceptions and was seemingly overwhelmed. To make matters worse, star wide receiver A.J. Brown will miss time, so he'll have to lean on the likes of Mack Collins to move the football.
New England's running game isn't a juggernaut either, so Jaguars defensive coordinator Anthony Campanile will have a prime opportunity to continue to build his stock for the next head-coaching hiring cycle.
Prediction: Jaguars win (3-0)
Week 4: Jaguars @ Cincinnati Bengals
By Week 4, Jacksonville will be firing on all cylinders but will run into a wall against the Cincinnati Bengals. In the opener, Cincy took care of an underwhelming Tampa Bay Buccaneers team. Back in the offseason, the Bengals bolstered the offensive line and the defense, so they should most definitely be in the thick of the AFC North race.
The Jags have struggled to beat Cincinnati, and that was against Jake Browning. They'll now get to face Joe Burrow, who's seemingly 100 percent after dealing with a myriad of injuries in past years.
Prediction: Jaguars lose (3-1)
Week 5: Jaguars vs. Philadelphia Eagles
Here's the first of the Jaguars' two home games in London. This one will take place at Tottenham Stadium, while EverBank Stadium undergoes renovations. The Jags will face a Philadelphia Eagles team that's trying to get its groove back after failing to find consistency on offense in 2025.
Already, wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks looks like the real deal after replacing A.J. Brown. Jalen Hurts was efficient in the opener, and the running game was clicking with Saquon Barkley and Tank Bigsby.
That said, the Jaguars matchup favorably for this one and will get their fourth win of the season.
Prediction: Jaguars win (4-1)
Week 6: Jaguars vs. Texans
For their second home game across the pond, the Jaguars will face off against the rival Houston Texans. Back in Week 1, Houston got into a shootout with the Buffalo Bills and ended up losing. Neither the offense nor the defense could close in the end, but that doesn't make them any less of a threat to Jacksonville.
Division games are always tough, and the Texans have too much talent not to split the series in 2026. Expect the Jags to lose this one. Still, they'll go into their BYE with a winning record.
