The Jacksonville Jaguars are expecting to be one of the best teams in the National Football League. That isn't going to come easy, however, as the AFC is loaded with talented teams all over the country.

One of the biggest reasons that the Jaguars are one of the best teams in the league is the play of their offense. They are led by Trevor Lawrence who is quickly becoming one of the best quarterbacks in the entire National Football League.

He is adding a major weapon this year as Calvin Ridley is set to make his Jaguars debut after the big trade while he was suspended.

Now, Ridley will be there with guys like wide receiver Christian Kirk and tight end Evan Engram amongst others. This group should form a lethal attack through the air.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are going to have a really good year in 2023.

One thing that is going to help Lawrence's offense as well is the running game. As a rookie, Travis Etienne had an outstanding year.

He played in all 17 Jaguars games and was one of the big reasons that the team turned things around. He had 1125 rushing yards on 220 attempts last year.

Etienne only had five touchdowns on the ground but as he grows his game, he will be handed the ball a lot more often in goal line situations.

The Jaguars also drafted Tank Bigsby so he will get some carries alongside Etienne. This duo could really help this offense grow.

Etienne also proved to be a decent threat through the air as well last year. He had 35 receptions for 316 yards. He didn't have a receiving touchdown but he did get the ball through the air for 16 first downs throughout the season.

This running attack that the Jaguars have, with the fact that it could randomly be used as a passing attack as well, should bode well for them this year.

It can be said time and time again, as long as the defense plays up to par this year, the Jaguars have what it takes to be elite. With the schedule that they have, big things could be ahead.
