The 2023 season didn't go according to plan for the Jacksonville Jaguars. After Trevor Lawrence and company turned the tides and won the AFC South and a playoff game in the 2022 campaign, it was only fair for people to expect the team to take yet another step forward and make an even deeper run in the postseason.

Well, the Jaguars failed to even make the playoffs after Lawrence got banged up and the team didn't repeat as division champs. The Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts were better than anyone thought they'd be, making the Jags' chances at winning the division even tougher.

The good news for the Jags is that people will be counting them out in 2024. The bad news is that they're nearing the end of Trevor Lawrence's rookie deal where he's affordable and they can add talent around him. More bad news for the Jags is that their 2024 schedule looks to be one of the more difficult ones in terms of strength of schedule, as they're tied for the eighth-toughest schedule.

Jaguars 2024 schedule

We don't have the Jags' 2024 schedule yet but the NFL typically has a schedule release special that's held a few weeks after the draft. We might not know when the Jaguars' games take place but we know who they'll be playing.

The Jaguars will, of course face every team in their division twice. They'll also face the AFC East and the NFC North while facing the second-place teams from the AFC North, AFC West, and NFC East. They have an additional road game this year and that game will be in the City of Brotherly Love against the Eagles.

The home slate doesn't look too daunting with the toughest match-ups coming against the Texans, Browns, and Packers. The away slate, however, is pretty intimidating with road games against the divisional opponents, Bills, Lions, Dolphins, and Eagles.
