The Jacksonville Jaguars are picking in the 20s for the first time in a long time. That means you are a good team which is always nice. Everyone likes being a good team.

Well, some of the worst teams in the league last season were in the AFC South. The Houston Texans ended the season with the second overall pick and the Indianapolis Colts had the fourth selection.

Well, the Houston Texans stole the show in the early stages of the first round. They selected quarterback CJ Stroud out of Ohio State University with the second overall pick.

Right after that, they made a crazy move to move up to pick three. Making back-to-back picks in the top three is certainly a good way to make a splash in the draft.

The Jaguars are in a division filled with teams trying to improve.

The Texans have a long way to go but coming out of the first round with a haul like Stroud and Anderson is certainly good for them. If they develop them to their potential, good things can be in the future.

The Jaguars need to make sure that they keep making smart decisions because the other teams in the division are coming for that top spot in the division.

The other two teams have also made their picks. The Colts took Anthony Richardson. They have the guy that they hope is the quarterback of the future. He is a very talented player but is rather raw. We will see how he develops over the years as well.

Later on, the Tennessee Titans made their selection. They took Peter Skoronski out of Northwestern. He is an offensive lineman that is very talented and should do a good job protecting the quarterback.

We will wait to see what the Jaguars decide to do with their selection. The division isn't just going to let them take over so they need to be smart.
