The Jacksonville Jaguars are getting ready for a big test on Sunday. The Pittsburgh Steelers are one of the best teams in the NFL right now. They are a hard test for anybody who tries to beat them. If the Jaguars win, they will truly establish themselves as an elite NFL team.

Right now, at 5-2, a lot of things have gone right for the Jaguars. They expected to have this kind of a record and they do so things are going according to plan. However, it still doesn't feel like they have been the best version of themselves yet either. There is more room to get better.

The defense was the biggest question coming into this season. With some of the studs that they have on that side of the ball, it felt like they could finally click but it was still a possibility that they don't. Until something is proven in the NFL, you can't be sure.

Well, so far this year, they have silenced all of the doubters. If the offense does its thing the way we know that it can, the defense has kept them in it and allowed them to win. This is going to be especially important as they head to a possible playoff game.

The Jacksonville Jaguars need to have a good game on offense this week.

They have a good opportunity in front of them this week with Pittsburgh. Their one weakness over there has been their offense. With a questionable quarterback, they have struggled at times. Their defense has allowed them to become a 4-2 team.

There have been "Fire Canada" chants all over Pittsburgh in recent weeks. That, of course, is a chant hinting that they want offensive coordinator Matt Canada to be fired. They really haven't been all that good so the fan frustration makes total sense there. The expectations are always high in Pittsburgh.

This is a chance for the Jaguars to keep that narrative going. The Steelers don't have to figure out their offensive woes against the Jaguars. This is Jacksonville's chance to come out and show that they can shut down these teams with struggling offenses. It would go a long way in getting them to 6-2.

Yes, you need to beat the better units in the league to win it all. But with the way the schedule is breaking for the Jaguars, it would be nice for Pittsburgh's offense to be slow all game and provide a nice easy time. Nothing is easy in the NFL but if they really are struggling, now is the time to pounce.
