The Jacksonville Jaguars are a team turning the corner. They are hoping the 2023 NFL Draft helps them even more after what was a very good 2022 season for them.

In round one on Friday night, the Jaguars traded back twice and ended up with the 27th overall pick. With that pick, they selected Anton Harrison out of Oklahoma. It is a great pick that they are hoping really helps them protect their franchise quarterback.

Now, they are set to try and make another difference with their round two selections on Friday night. Events like this can help teams win the Super Bowl if they are smart with it. People are wondering what direction they are going to go.

Every team in the NFL has a former legend of their franchise set to announce their second-round selections. For the Jaguars, Fred Taylor is going to be that guy for them.

Fred Taylor will make the 2nd round pick for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Of course, Taylor was the ninth overall pick to the Jaguars in 1998. He was a running back out of Florida that had a great career. He spent the first 11 years of his career with the Jaguars before finishing his final two years with the New England Patriots.

Over his 13-year NFL career, seven of them were years in which he had over 1000 yards so there is no doubt that he was outstanding. Most of those years were tough for the Jaguars in terms of winning so he was definitely a bright spot.

Now, all these years later, we get to see him announce the pick for the Jaguars. They are scheduled to make the 56th overall pick so we'll see if they stick with it.

It is cool to see the NFL doing things like this. It is always nice for fans to see former players still involved. Fred Taylor provided a lot of great moments to Jacksonville Jaguars fans. Now, we have to hope that the selection that he announces becomes a great NFL player.

There are, as mentioned before, some great options for the Jaguars to think about. Whoever it is will surely be thrilled to meet Fred Taylor on the stage.
