New video shows Liam Coen's savage postgame comment to Robert Saleh

Before the Jacksonville Jaguars handed the San Francisco 49ers their first loss of the regular season, Niners defensive coordinator Robert Saleh accused Liam Coen and the Jags of legally stealing signs. It was a strange comment to make and Coen did not forget it.

As the two teams were congregating on the field after the game, Coen approached Saleh and we saw video of the two exchanging words and needing to be separated. At first, we weren't sure what was said between Coen and Saleh but, thanks to Ari Meirov on X, that mystery has been solved.

"Keep my name out of your mouth."

Those seven words got Coen's message across perfectly. He felt disrespected by Saleh and what he accused the Jags of doing (cheating but doing so legally apparently) and wanted him to know how he felt about the situation. It's perfectly understandable why Coen was mad.

Maybe Saleh was trying to get into his head before this game or was mad about not being hired for the Jags head coaching gig. Whatever the reason was, Coen had the right to feel angry about it.

Liam Coen didn't mince words when confronting Robert Saleh

The 49ers apparently aren't going to let this situation go away either, as their head coach, Kyle Shanahan, said that Coen shouldn't have been "so sensitive" about everything. Well, Shanahan, your defensive coordinator accused Coen and the Jags of (legally) cheating so why shouldn't he be sensitive about it?

Fortunately, the Jaguars won the game and that's the best kind of revenge they could have gotten here. We won't see a rematch between these two teams unless the Jags and 49ers happen to meet in the Super Bowl and well, wouldn't that be absolutely wild?

Even though the game is in the books and both teams should be moving on from everything, it feels like this drama is far from over.
