Wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. turned out to be a revelation as a rookie and should be even better in Year 2. However, the Jacksonville Jaguars knew that they needed more weapons if they wanted to make to get the offense back on track, so they added Dyami Brown and Travis Hunter to Trevor Lawrence's arsenal. The trio had a strong offseason and is putting in extra work to hit the ground running in the opener.

Even though NFL teams are taking a rest ahead of training camp, Brian Thomas Jr., Travis Hunter, and Dyami Brown took a trip to the Bahamas to strengthen their chemistry. Just recently, photographer Jack Gillen shared a clip of their work together.

You can see that Hunter is having the time, proving once again just how much he likes football. Heck, Thomas, and Brown are also seen enjoying the workout. Based on a different post, Lawrence also made the trip but doesn't show in any pics or clips that have been shared as of this writing.

The Jaguars should be thrilled to see Brian Thomas Jr., Dyami Brown, and Travis Hunter together

At this point of the offseason, Travis Hunter, Dyami Brown, and Brian Thomas Jr. could be taking it easy, but they aren't. Granted, they picked the Bahamas because they want to relax, but that will only happen (or happened) after they put in the work. This kind of bonding exercise should lead to a much better performance on the field.

And tha'ts the thing, Thomas was a stud as a rookie, but didn't truly get going until late in the season. He's making sure he'll be ready for Week 1. The same is true for his fellow receivers. Brown was mostly a non-factor early in his NFL career, but hit his stride late in 2024. He got off to a strong start to his stint with the Jaguars, and seeing him work out, makes you think that he's encouraging finish to his time with the Washington Commanders will carry over into next season.

Hunter should be hyped up about getting to work with both of them. There's no denying that he's as talented as both Thomas and Brown but has yet to take a snap in the NFL, so he could learn plenty from them, whether it's preparation or honing his fundamentals.

Of course, the biggest beneficiary will be Trevor Lawrence, who will have no shortage of targets next season. Granted, he's previously played with the likes of Marvin Jones Jr., Evan Engram, and Christian Kirk, but never has he had as many weapons as he'll have next season. The fact that they're all working on their chemistry and timing will ensure the passing game will be a well-oiled machine from the get-go.

Circling back to the clip, it provides a taste of the state of the wide receiver corps: A talented trio putting in the hard work to perform to the best of their capabilities while having fun, which is the whole point of football, right?
