There will be no shortage of intriguing headlines when the Jacksonville Jaguars welcome the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 5. A 3-point underdog for the Monday Night Football game, they'll have an opportunity to prove they're a legitimate playoff contender.

For the Jags to pull off the upset, they'll need to cut down on mistakes. It will also help if pass rusher Travon Walker suits up for the game. Based on the latest injury report, there's a chance he will.

The Jaguars are listing Travon Walker as questionable vs. Chiefs

Travon Walker sustained a wrist injury in the Week 3 win over the San Francisco 49ers. He visited a specialist and was classified as day-to-day after undergoing surgery. The former Georgia Bulldog sat out a couple practices but returned, albeit on a limited basis, Saturday. As such, he and offensive lineman Waytt Milum were listed as questionable for Monday Night.

Apart from Walker and Milum, no other Jaguar has a designation. That means that the offensive line will be at full strength. Ezra Cleveland (concussion, ankle), Patrick Mekari (knee), Chuma Edoga (knee), and Anton Harrison (elbow) were limited participants the first two days of practice, but they're good to go against the Chiefs. The same is true for wide receiver Dyami Brown, who missed the San Francisco game with a shoulder injury.

On defense, safety Eric Murray is good to go, so Walker notwithstanding, Jacksonville will go into the game with all hands on deck on defense.

Travon Walker will be a game-time decision for the Jaguars

Travon Walker was practicing with a club. Liam Coen met with the local media and said that the team will go right down to the wire with him, noting that his availability for Monday Night could be a matter of pain tolerance.

"We're down to the wire with it, we will," Coen responded when asked about the likelihood Walker will play against the Chiefs (1:24 mark). "I mean, it's just as much as he can, you know, keep getting the swell and all that stuff. It's just a matter of that. So I trust that if he's if he says he can go, then, we'll go."

In case Walker sits out the game, which is a possibility, Coen told reporters that other players are aware they'll need to step up.

"The guys know they may have to step up. You know, there's multiple guys that have played in those opportunities within the flow of games. Dennis Gardeck continues to play better as well. [Emmanuel] Ogbah, [Dawuane] Smooth, those guys have all done a nice job. B.J. Green got going a little bit last week, so it'll be a little bit by committee, but I have a lot of faith in those guys up front," Coen said.

The last thing the Jaguars will want is to rush Travon Walker if he isn't good to go, but the fact that there's even a chance bodes well for his availability if not for Week 5, for later games this season.
