The Jacksonville Jaguars are running out of healthy receivers, even though they just traded for Jakobi Meyers. During the 30-29 win over the Las Vegas Raiders, they lost Brian Thomas Jr. and Dyami Brown. The former sprained his ankle, and the latter suffered a concussion.
The good news is that Tim Patrick is trending toward returning after missing the past two games with a groin injury. Moreover, there's a chance Brown will play against the Houston Texans based on the latest injury report.
Brian Thomas Jr. did not practice but the Jaguars could get Dyami Brown back
The Jags dropped their Thursday injury report. For the second consecutive day, wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. was kept out of practice. On the other hand, Dyami Brown was listed as a full participant after being limited Wednesday. He's still on concussion protocol, and it doesn't look like he's gotten clearance yet. Based on his status, though, it may be a matter of time before he does.

On the other hand, Tim Patrick (groin), along with tight end Quintin Morris (groin), were once again full participants this week, so they should be back in the fold. DaVon Hamilton (back), linebacker Dennis Gardeck (chest), linebacker Jack Kiser (quad), and guard Wyatt Milum (knee) got the limited designation.
Aside from Thomas, cornerback Jourdan Lewis, and left guard Ezra Cleveland did not practice Thursday, and their chances of playing against the Texans currently don't look great.
If Cleveland isn't good to go, Chuma Edoga could get the starting nod at left guard. Similarly, Jarrian Jones could fill in for Lewis if he's unavailable.

The Jaguars may be without Brian Thomas Jr. but are getting Dyami Brown back (possibly)
Dyami Brown has cooled down after a strong start to the season. The fact that he's dealt with a shoulder injury and the concussion hasn't helped matters. Having said that, having him around against the Houston Texans will be huge, especially if Brian Thomas Jr. doesn't suit up.
Thomas suffered an ankle sprain in the win over the Raiders. He was making a push to play, but nobody will bat an eye if he sits out the Texans game. On the bright side, Tim Patrick should be a full-go, but even then, the Jags may still promote Tim Jones again.
It's also worth noting that Devin Lloyd didn't appear on Thursday's report, so he should be back for the Week 10 divisional matchup. Jacksonville has sorely missed his big-play skills.
It's still hard to tell who'll end up suting up for the Jaguars in Week 10, but they should have enough players back to trounce the Texans.
