After a successful 2025 campaign, the Jacksonville Jaguars could lose both of their coordinators. Grant Udinski is getting a second interview with the Cleveland Browns and is also drawing interest for the vacancy with the Buffalo Bills. On the other hand, defensive coordinator Anthony Campanile is also drawing interest.

Campanile interviewed for the Miami Dolphins opening before the job ultimately went to Jeff Hafley. That said, the Jaguars defensive coordinator is still in demand and could leave the Jags in this hiring cycle.

The Cardinals will interview Jaguars DC Anthony Campanile for their opening

After meeting with the Baltimore Ravens for their head-coaching gig, Campanile is also a candidate for the vacancy with the Arizona Cardinals. Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that he's having a second, in-person interview with the Cards' top brass on January 22nd, adding that he's flying tonight for the meeting.

The news came in light of the report that the Jags have hired Mathieu Araujo, a coach with ties to Campanile to coach their secondary.

The Cardinals dismissed Jonathan Gannon after the 2025 season. It's been discussed that they'll have trouble filling their vacancy because they've routinely gotten poor grades from the NFLPA. Having said that, the prospect of running his own team could be enough to lure his own team.

Campanile joined the Jags when they hired Liam Coen as the head coach last year. With him at the helm, the defense went from one of the worst in the NFL to one of the top 10. Moreover, their run defense was the best in the league.

If that wasn't enough, players such as cornerback Montaric Brown, linebacker Devin Lloyd, and safety Antonio Johnson had banner seasons.

While Campanile's no-nonsense approach works on the field, his ability to connect with his players at a personal level has most definitely helped him succeed.

There's still a chance that the Jaguars will keep Anthony Campanile in 2026

Of course, it takes two to tango. Both the Cardinals and Baltimore need to make sure that Anthony Campanile is the best candidate of the bunch. For his part, he needs to make sure that it's the right fit and that he'll be in a position to succeed.

If Campanile ends up leaving, though, the Jags will have options to replace him. Former Atlanta Falcons head coach Raheem Morris should be at the top of their list, but they could also target rising assistants such as Al Harris or Giff Smith.

Ultimately, the Jaguars would love to keep Anthony Campanile, but other teams took notice of just how good he was in 2025, so it's not surprising that he has a robust market for his services.
